Location – Labuan F.T. Responsibilities & Job Description The Cost & Contract Coordinator shall be responsible for the following: • Responsible for all contractors’ activities and interface with all other parties engaged within the Turnaround • Prepare contracting strategy for TASC approval on behalf of the Turnaround Preparation & Execution Head • Involved in Turnaround Tender plan and in the Turnaround Tender process. • Assist in preparing the Turnaround budget and tracking all Turnaround expenditures • Establish the subcontractor scope of work and prepare tender enquiries and final analysis for selection of suitable contractor • Review existing services contracts used for the turnaround • Report during daily progress meetings on the contractors’ status in relation to performance, resource availability, and safety • Ensure the job method statements prepared by the subcontractor are adequately understood, communicated and agreed upon. • Ensures the job method statements are adhered to by the subcontractor during execution. • Liaise with respective departments and sections to check the quality and standards of the contractor’s equipment brought to site. • Support major job reviews and attend safe systems of work meeting to evaluate high risk jobs. • Monitor the ongoing costs of the contractor, highlight any additions/deletions to those costs and report any findings to the turnaround preparation & execution head. • Maintain accurate records of any additions/deletions to the scope of work which will influence final costs. • Check whether or not the contractor has proper resource management. • Minimize and negotiate for reductions in contrast cost. • Prepare a report at the end of Turnaround, highlighting the performance of the selected subcontractors and making recommendations for future projects. • Make available the final cost incurred at the end of the turnaround. Qualifications / Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering or equivalent • At least 2-5 years of relevant working experience in Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industry with 3 Turnaround experiences OR; At least 6 years of relevant working experience in any • other industry. • Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Outlook, Access, Excel • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
