General Job Scope: Reporting to HR Manager the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of human resources functions while providing efficient service to internal customers. Their duties include recruitment process, hiring and training of new staff and trainees and also managing of existing employees. The incumbent also coordinates with payroll process, maintain vital employee records and ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. Tasks and duties: - Assisting HR Manager with the day-to-day HR Department operation which include but not limited to the monitoring of daily attendance, process of recruitment including shortlisting/vetting of candidates, assisting with interviews process and issuing employment letters/contracts - Supporting HR Manager with regard to internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department - Compiling, maintaining, filing and updating paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday leaves and sick leaves - Assisting with processing of monthly payroll with regard to the documentation and updating of employee records, compensation and benefits - Coordinating HR-related training programs, activities, workshops and seminars - Entering and updating of employee data into computer database while maintaining and safeguarding vital employee records. - Overseeing HR events, meetings and coordinating management-employee communications - Coordinating of any training program internal and external which will also include PROTÉGÉ training program. - Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency and ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. - Adhering to instruction from superior to attend to other tasks as and when required. This is a 12 month PROTEGE Training contract and we require serious person who is willing to stay, learn and gain knowledge and experience for the duration of 12 month.
