JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages, as well as writing complex queries for efficient data extraction. The role involves performance tuning of SQL queries and working with various Oracle DB objects.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages for complex business logic.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and ensure efficient database operations.
  • Implement and manage batch programming and Oracle Job Scheduler.
  • Work with Oracle DB objects such as triggers, synonyms, and DB links.
  • Design, create, and manage materialized views, views, and materialized view logs.
  • Collaborate with the front-end development team for integration with core systems.·
  • Use ticketing tools (Jira) for project management and track progress.
  • Version control using SVN/GIT for code management and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Experience in the insurance domain and AML systems will be an added advantage.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle database development and PL/SQL programming.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database objects, batch programming, and job scheduling.
  • Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with Jira, SVN, GIT, and other development tools.
  • Knowledge of integrating front-end systems (e.g., portals) with core systems.
  • Experience in the insurance domain and anti-money laundering (AML) systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Oracle (OCP) or related technologies would be an advantage.
