Job Title: Account Clerk Job Summary: The Account Clerk is responsible for providing support to the manager by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient and accurate financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Enter invoices, receipts, and payments into the QuickBooks accounting system. Update and manage the general ledger. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. Issue invoices to customers and follow up on payments. Reconcile customer and supplier accounts. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with company records. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare financial reports, including expense summaries and profit and loss statements. Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance purposes. General Administrative Tasks: Handle filing, correspondence, and other administrative duties. Requirements: Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting, MS Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
