Data Analyst

Reports directly to The Performance Improvement Manager Responsible for: - Data Analysis and management pertaining to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Position Summary: - The data analyst is responsible for providing data analysis and administrative support to performance improvement in both clinical and non clinical areas across disciplines, consistent with the hospital quality improvement and patient safety framework Duties: -Provide analytical support in how to structure the data in a way that communicates existing and emerging trends and patterns - Facilitate the ongoing performance improvement projects through data collection and analysis - Develop appropriate technical specification and data management plans to satisfy these requirement. - Collaborate with end user to understand and define their data needs - Independently performs data retrieval for various quality improvement initiatives - Maintain strong attention to details and prioritize workload while meeting deliverables and expectations - Educate and mentor staffs involved in data collection, validation & analysis in quality improvement. - Other duties as assigned by the Performance Improvement Manager. Qualification: - A Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Administrative Science or equivalent - A minimum of 1 year experience in Quality Assurance/Improvement Other requirement: Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing. Good communication skills, including both written and verbal. Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
