BHD. seeks a MASTER CAM PROGRAMMER SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name Job Description: Sets up, programs, and adjusts CNC manufacturing machinery and CAM computer software. Generate CAD/CAM program for CNC machines using Master CAM. Designing tools and fixtures for improved machining, understanding speeds/feeds of tools and their effect on manufacturing cycle time, and providing support to each machinist. Optimize CNC programs on 3 axis machining center in a cost-effective manner but within quality part requirements. Analyze and interpret technical data (engineering drawings, specifications, 2D prints, and 3D models etc.) and create CNC programs, tools, and other necessary processes to produce a high-quality product. Write programs based on customer prints, models, etc. Using solid model CAD files to create CNC tool paths and programs for CNC mills. Interpreting project blueprints, designing programs and setting up machines to produce the component outlined in the program. Perform test runs and make adjustments until the resulting product meets blueprint specifications. Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly Work with engineers, supervisors, and other shop personnel to resolve machining and quality issues. Check parts for conformity to specified dimensions and tolerances. Recognize improper machine functioning or cutting tool action and take corrective action. Organizes, daily, the CNC Protected programming files for proper retrieval and retention. Documents and establishes standards and modifies, adjusts, and corrects existing standards to incorporate engineering changes. Required Skills: The required skills for the position MASTER CAM PROGRAMMER SPECIALIST are as follow: Minimum 5 years experience in master cam programming and troubleshooting is necessary. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Adhere to safety and quality policies. Relevant certificate.
