Resident Engineer (Mechanical)

1. Lead the Mechanical team and supervise all mechanical activities of project and ensure compliance to all plans and specifications 2. Identify all discrepancies in plans and ensure optimal productivity of construction personnel 3. Facilitates and advises the Contractor on site issues for timely completion of works 4. Attend meetings and liaise with Authorities for approvals, if any 5. To be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of mechanical matters including reviews of contractor’s design and working drawing 6. Report directly with management and ensure that work in progress is accordance with good engineering practice 7. To attend to all technical site meeting with Client/Contractor REQUIREMENTS 1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2. Minimum 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position preferably related to site working experience (slope / roads / bridges). 3. Good communication and interpersonal skills 4. Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision 5. Possess ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and in stringent environment
