ACCOUNT 1. Responsible for preparation of full sets of accounts, including general account, account payable and anything related to closing the account in a timely manner and following company policy and statutory requirements. 2. To plan, prepare and execute the group’s annual report which includes preparation of monthly financial statement, group tax planning, budgetary and forecast, weekly cash management reports, and others which arises from time to time. 3. Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing reports including monthly review/analysis of revenue, cost and margin performance. 4. Review and analyze monthly results to ensure accuracy of financial statements, making accruals and adjustments as needed. 5. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and produce error-free accounting reports and present their results. 6. To continuously plan, review, evaluate and execute new financial information system for the department in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. 8. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. 9. Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process. 10. Support month-end and year-end close process. 11. Responsible to handle petty cash include distributing the cash and collecting receipts for all purchases or any uses of the funds with appropriate accounting entries. 12. Ensure all utilities payment include rental and bills are paid and update in timely manners. 13. Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. TAX 1. Preparing corporate and personal tax computations and tax returns for timely submission to the tax authorities. 2. To highlight and advise budgetary control and tax planning to the management periodically. 3. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liability. 4. Liaise with bankers, company secretary, tax agents and auditors for the finalization of financial statement and statutory reporting. 5. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance. INVENTORY 1. Responsible of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders numbers with supplier invoices and ensure the accuracy of all receiving process documents. 2. Track and document of any discrepancies on received orders and escalate to Purchasing/Procurement for resolution. 3. Manage all outgoing/issuing materials upon request, ensure all requisition form is signed upon material issuing. 4. Ensure every single transaction of incoming and/or outgoing of material from store is recorded systematically. 5. Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Management. 6. To plan housekeeping activities and maintain cleanliness of the company store. 7. Maintain detailed records of inventory, inspections and keeping the good record.
