DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinates and plans work procedure and manpower (Team Members) resources to meet production requirements and schedules Facilitates and oversees the work and performance of team members. Analyses and assists team members in solving team's problem Troubleshoots and recommends plans to improve production methods, equipment Interfaces with other departments to ensure Company's objectives are met. Organizes and conducts training program to new team members. Motivates team members to achieve team goals. Ensure daily operation runs smoothly. Continuously improve manpower and equipment efficiency and production productivity (as defined in Continuous Improvement Project goals). Meet team’s Monthly and Yearly targets. Serve as a linkage between team and others (teams, department or management) in ensuring team, department and Company’s goals are met. Enhance team spirit. Ensure company policy, work procedures and ESH regulations are adhered by all team members. Conduct half yearly performance appraisal to all team members. Adheres to Company’s policies and ESH regulations. Facilitates the understanding and compliance of the company policies and enforces ESH regulations. Holds confidential all aspects of technical/ non-technical confidential information in which he/ she has access to as assigned by the Company. Involves in interview, recommends hiring of new employees, transfer, promotions, salary actions, subordinate's attendance, discipline handling and performance management. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time. REQUIREMENTS Ability to lead team efforts and resolve conflicts and differences Ability to choose the communication method effectively in order to match the content, style and language to suit the audience, in order to maximize understanding. Ability to motivate, inspire, coach and manage resources in order to keep the team progressing towards the Company’s and Team’s objectives. Recognized university/ college degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Chemical or Material Engineering. Preferable to have a minimum of 2 years experience in production related areas in the electrical/ electronic manufacturing industry. Fresh graduates with strong academic background (CGPA min 3.0) and exhibit good leaderships skills and positive work attitudes (through co-curriculum activities) will be considered for the above post as Management Trainees. Computer Skills – Computer literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office. Knowledge SPC & in Quality System (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001), RBA standards will be an added advantage
