Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: HVAC Supervisor will oversee and manage a team of HVAC technicians responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of HVAC systems while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate the activities of the HVAC team, including assigning tasks, scheduling work, and ensuring timely completion of projects. - Monitor and inspect HVAC installations and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations. - Troubleshoot complex HVAC problems and provide guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing and resolving issues. - Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems and recommend preventive maintenance measures. - Train and mentor HVAC technicians, providing guidance on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and repair procedures. - Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations. - Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems to ensure the team's skills and knowledge are up to date. - Manage inventory of HVAC equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled projects and repairs. - Prepare and maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment maintenance, and service history. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for the team. SALARY NEGOTIATION depending on level of education, competency, years of experience and personal capabilities. Requirements and skills - Diploma or SPM or equivalent; completion of a technical or vocational HVAC program is preferred. - Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with at least 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC systems. - Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to manage and guide a team of HVAC technicians. - Valid HVAC technician license or certification as required by local regulations. - Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment. - Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
