Data Center Technician (STRICTLY NO WALK-IN, BY APPOINTMENT)

Job description Responsibilities: Perform installation, termination, testing and labeling of cabling for CAT5e/CAT6, coaxial and fiber. Perform site survey at any assigned locations and produce full report on findings. Perform installation of caging, data center containment, cable containment, rack, IT equipment and other electrical/electornic devices. Perform structural works such as painting, piping, demolition, partitioning etc. Perform cabling troubleshooting onsite as and when required. Purchase and collection of urgently required/unscoped materials. Assisting in warehousing works such as receiving, sorting, and stocking items. Requirements: Minimum 1 year working experiences in Data Center works or similar. Knowledge and experience in operating cable testers including generating test result both in hardcopy and softcopy is an added advantage. Availability during after-office hours, weekend or public holidays for emergency support. Exhibit quality workmanship for all tasks assigned/undertaken. Maintain site cleanliness at all times. Adhering to safety policies and procedures at all times. Ability to work independently as well as a team. Task prioritizing, multitasking and time management. Excellent written and spoken interpersonal communication skills.
