Position Title: Procurement Assistant

Location: Hicom Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing, cost negotiations, credit terms, and buying of raw materials, consumable items, spare parts, etc.
- Screening quality and specification of goods delivered and costs charged by the suppliers.
- Reviewing purchase requests and preparing purchase orders for suppliers.
- Assist in maintaining a full record and coordinate with various suppliers as well as compare costs for purchasing requisition within the organization.
- To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations, supplier information, and other related documentation.
- Follow up closely with the shipping and forwarding agent on all the import shipments.
- Provide product costing for the sales team and time-to-time update costing.
- Handle other ad-hoc matters from time to time assigned by the superior.
Qualifications & Experiences Needed
- Team-work oriented, high level of integrity, with the capacity to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Good writing, communication, and negotiation skills with a positive attitude.
- Computer literate, especially in MS Office applications and the Internet.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Word processing, spreadsheet management, and database management experience.
- Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
