Job Descriptions

1. Installation:

  • Solar wiremen are involved in the installation process of solar panels and related equipment.
  • They mount PV panels on roofs or other structures, connect them in series or parallel configurations, and wire them to inverters and electrical systems.

2. Wiring and Connections:

  • Solar wiremen are responsible for the electrical wiring and connections required for solar installations.
  • They ensure proper routing of wires, make appropriate connections to inverters, and connect the system to the electrical grid or batteries.

3. Troubleshooting and Repairs:

  • When issues arise with a solar power system, wiremen diagnose the problem and perform necessary repairs.
  • This may involve identifying faults in wiring, replacing defective components, or addressing issues with system performance.

4. Safety and Compliance:

  • Solar wiremen adhere to safety guidelines and electrical codes to ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar power systems.
  • They follow proper grounding procedures, use personal protective equipment, and comply with local regulations.

5. Maintenance and Upgrades:

  • Solar wiremen may be involved in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning panels, inspecting connections, and testing system performance.
  • They may also assist with system upgrades or expansions.

Requirements

  • Certificate/ Diploma or Advance Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Preferably 1 – 2 years working experience in related field. Juniors with interest in Electrical job for interior works are also welcome to apply.
  • Required Language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Must possess PW2/PW4 Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
  • Sound knowledge in building maintenance and facilities management.
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and its regulations.
  • Demonstrate a good level of negotiation skills with customers.
  • Willing to work long hours.
  • Able to read electrical circuit diagram & electrical troubleshooting

  • Result-oriented, independently and team player.
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft office (Word/Excel & Power Point)
  • Possesses own transport.
  • Willing to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • PW2/PW4 Certificate (Preferred)
