Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Process and manage monthly payroll for all employees, including permanent, contract, and freelance staff.
- Ensure accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, overtime, and allowances.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to payroll.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and government bodies.
- System Administration:
- Manage and update payroll software systems with employee data.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure system integrity and data accuracy.
- Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees in a timely manner.
- Educate employees on payslips, deductions, and tax obligations as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure alignment on hiring, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Partner with the Finance department to reconcile payroll accounts and support audits.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement solutions for efficiency.
- Test and adopt new payroll features or systems as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll management.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, preferably Infotech, and its modules.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using payroll software, especially Infotech Payroll System.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Soft Skills:
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
