Job Scope
We are looking for an IT Administrator who can independently oversee IT tasks while enhancing our team’s productivity and satisfaction. This role involves providing technical support to employees, promptly resolving any IT- related issues efficiently. You may also participate in planning and implementing IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed. The IT Administrator should stay updated on new technology trends and be proficient with a variety of technologies and systems. This position is based in the G2G Kuala Lumpur office.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure desktop and laptop hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners for end - users
- Ensure all syatems are set up in compliance with Company IT standards and security policies
- Respond promptly to user requests and service issues, providing effective technical support across the company
- Diagnose, repair, and replace hardware as needed to minimize downtime and improve system reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across Windows and macOS systems
- Support senior team members in server security, ensuring all updates are applied regularly to maintain server integrity
- Participate in Cloud services performance monitoring, helping to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization
- Maintaining and supporting the company’s network infrastructure, working to minimize connectivity issues and system disruptions
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and systems to identify and address security vulnerabilities
- Document all technical support requests, system updates, and network changes for tracking and future reference
- Maintain records of equipment installations, replacements, and repairs to support the IT asset management process
- Setup and maintain office Door access, CCTV system, Antivirus and Mobile Device Management(MDM) solution
- Provided off hours support for high priority issues as and when required
- Provide training and support to end- users on the use of IT systems and applications
- Oversee software licensing to ensure compliance with licensing agreements
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
Requirements
- Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (Data Communication & Networking) or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of working experience in an IT - related field OR fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in administering both Apple macOS and Windows operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Understanding of IT security practices, including antivirus software and Mobile Device Management(MDM) solutions
- Ability to work independently and maintain end users satisfaction
- Ability to provide off- hours support for high - priority issues when required
