We also work on enabling their environment - for which we engage with training teachers, lecturers, and corporate and government employees. Role Summary: Join our team as a Solar wiring Teacher! We're seeking someone with a robust background in home electrical systems, ready to share their expertise with underserved communities. If you have a knack for developing engaging and accessible technical modules, coupled with excellent communication skills tailored for teaching, we want to hear from you. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by empowering individuals with valuable knowledge and skills while fostering inclusivity and accessibility in education. In this role you will: - Conduct the theoretical and practical classes at Solar Academy and train the students to be Solar PV installers as the market needs - Ensure that all records of the student's lesson preparation, progression, assessment and monthly reports for stakeholder - Curate and develop a technical module for Solar Academy and meet health, and safety standards and guidelines & regulations. The module must meet the teaching training and standards as well. - Administer tasks related to class well-being, including attendance tracking, reporting, and managing homework and assessments. - Cooperate and liaise with agencies and authorities on behalf of the Solar Academy regarding students' progression and other opportunities in this industry - Additional responsibilities may be given to you as and when it is deemed necessary. To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have: - Minimum Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent. - Posses PW2 Wireman certificate or equivalent - Knowledge and experience in home electrical systems - Experienced in teaching technical subjects - Good communication skills in communicating technical information clearly and effectively - Knowledge of Solar PV Systems is an advantage. - Experience in producing learning modules is an advantage Necessary technical, functional or language skills: - Passion in teaching students that come from underserved community - Passion for electrical work and renewable energy; - Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or English; - High motivation to ensure that the students are able to understand the module - Strong drive to ensrure that the modules created are clearly and effectively - High awareness and alertness on health and safety standards; - Ability to work independently and self-driven, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team; - Understanding of SOLS Energy values, principles and objectives and demonstrated ability to put them into practice in the workplace.
