Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To ensure that the SOP, work Instructions, and other quality documents are being updated and reviewedperiodically.

2. To ensure GMP records (BMR, IPC forms, SOP, logbooks and internal form) are properly maintained on the production.

3. To execute and monitor in verify and validate adherence to quality control programs, sanitation procedures, and relevant operating procedures.

4. Responsible for implement and follow up with corrective actions and preventive actions internally and externally.

5. To conduct on-site inspection, monitor and verify the corrective action or preventive action taken along the processing.

6. Responsible for final release of finished product in the absence of Quality Manager.

7. To review, revise and implement SOP and procedures in relation to safety and hygiene to ensure no cross contamination and minimize the risk.

8. Monitor and verify all laboratory tests and activities (IPQC/ FPQC).

9. To ensure the raw materials, excipients and packaging materials are meet the specifications. Only approved materials shall be allowed to be used for production.

10. To ensure that only passed and approved finished products can be released by issuing the “Approved Sticker” on the finished products.

11. To control supplier performance periodically for evaluation purposes.

12. Responsible for internal audits, product complaints and take necessary actions.

13. To provide internal GMP training for operators and QC Executive.

14. Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.

15. Other tasks assigned by the superior management.

Job Requirements :

· Bachelor’s Degree /Diploma in Food Technology/Nutrition/Science/Biologist/Chemistry, with minimum 3 years in the related field is required for this position.

· Assistant Managers / Manager specializing in Quality Control/ Assurance or equivalent.

· Able to work independently, multi-task and collaborate well with other team-members

· Good understanding in GMP and HALAL.

· Previous experience in training delivery and quality assurance is preferred.
