Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and skilled Accounts & Finance Executive to join us. This role involves handling key accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing support to the finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and the ability to manage financial tasks independently.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage day-to-day AP and AR functions, including processing payments and receipts, and reconciling statements with suppliers and clients.
- Ensure accurate entry of transactions into the accounting system.
- Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions.
- Perform monthly and yearly closing of accounts and ensure accuracy in the trial balance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including incomestatements and balance sheets.
- Assist in preparing management reports, including financial analysis to support businessdecision- making.
- Conduct bank reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure all bank transactions arerecorded correctly and any discrepancies are promptly resolved.
- Prepare, review, and submit SST documentation as per regulatory requirements
- Ensure timely compliance and accurate SST filings with tax regulations and maintainorganized records for audit purposes
- Provide necessary documentation and liase with auditors
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatoryrequirements.
- Prepare invoices for clients and credit control
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account balances.
- Maintain good working relationships with vendors and clients and ensure all payments are processed on time
- Liaise with vendors and clients for payment inquiries, document requests and issue resolution
- Provide prompt responses to any accounting-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain relationships with banking partners and prepare documentation
- Assist in monitoring departmental budgets and flag any inconsistencies between actual and budgeted expenditures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- A Minimum of 3 years of working experience in an accounting or finance role, witha solid understanding of financial principles and processes.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SQL,etc) and Microsoft Office
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to explain financial requests
- Highly meticulous, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in managing financial data
- Demonstrated ability to resolve discrepancies and maintain accuracy in financial transactions
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
Work Environment & Conditions
· Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (fully office-based).
· Working Hours:
o Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
o Friday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Salary Range
RM 3,500 – RM 5,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
