Position Overview:
An Accounts Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting the organization’s accounting and administrative functions. The role involves processing invoices, managing payroll, reconciling accounts, and handling general office administration related to financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and company accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Payroll Management:
- Manage payroll processing, including employee timesheets, benefits, and tax deductions.
- Ensure payroll compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Budget and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor expenses against budgets and report discrepancies.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies.
- Systems and Tools Management:
- Update and manage accounting software and systems.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with team members and external partners.
- Experience:
2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related administrative role.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
