CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) - MEDICAL

Job Summary
The role provides technical support in diagnosing and treating heart diseases by operating specialized cardiac equipment. The role involves conducting non-invasive diagnostic tests, ensuring the safety and functionality of all cardiac devices, and contributing to the overall care and management of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests (e.g., ECG, stress tests, echocardiography) as per physician instructions.
• Operate and maintain cardiac equipment, including ECG machines, stress test machines, and echocardiography ultrasound devices.
• Record and analyze diagnostic results, producing accurate reports for physician review.
• Fit and manage portable ECG monitors for ambulatory monitoring, including Holter and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring.
• Ensure all patient records are maintained with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Assist in developing departmental policies and protocols to improve service standards.
• Manage equipment checks, including electrical safety tests, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Support nursing, medical, and other technical staff in implementing patient care protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including infection control, patient safety, and risk management.
• Provide regular reports to hospital management as required.

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Technology or in Nursing or a related field.
• Certification in ECG and echocardiography (preferred).
• Proven experience operating cardiac diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Ability to interpret and analyze cardiac test data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
