Summary/Objective

The Inventory Associate’s role will be responsible for receiving, movement of material to / from WIP Cage, issue material to Production, issue finish product to customer order

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

  • Receiving
  • Review incoming document to ensure the shipment is belong to Samtec
  • Identify any suspicious, damage package
  • Ensure total receive quantity is match with incoming document
  • Create Parcel Id, Receive Parcel Vendor, move package to IQC / accepted cart / Production / Non BOM transition area / outside contractor rack
  • Movement of material to WIP Cage
  • Pulling material from Central Inventory to WIP Cage
  • Restock transferred material to IH WIP Cage
  • Packing transferred material for other WIP Cage and move to OC collection area
  • Issue material to Production
  • Pulling material from WIP Cage
  • Issue material to order
  • Restock balance material to WIP Cage
  • Move the issued material to Production area
  • Issue finish good to customer order
  • Pulling finish good from Central Inventory
  • Issue finish good to customer order
  • Restock balance finish good to Central Inventory
  • Move the issued finish good to QA
  • Parcel Accounting, Empty Wooden Reel Cleaning & Packing, documents filing and housekeeping
  • Any tasks / projects as and when assigned by Superior
  • Adheres to all Samtec Quality Principles and actions

Required Experience

  • 2 years in related / similar position

Preferred Education:

  • Minimum High School Diploma / related technical or equivalent experience.
