Supervisor (Grind Division)

About the role - you will:

• Manage all aspects of the production line and supervised manufacturing specialist
• Supervise production line to ensure production targets were met
• Coordinate with AL Grind Operation team toward production line improvements
• Prepare and update shiftily reports on production efficiency and productivity
• Initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes and reduce process or equipment related problem and delay
• Continuously plan to improve work environment methods effectiveness and resource utilization and critically review and monitor operation result
• Prepare and implement production schedule to ensure that the required quantity and quality are completed within the scheduled time.
• Ensure that all production outputs are produced in accordance with quality control specifications
• Manpower planning and work with a team member in line with efficiency improvement and wastage reduction to meet the internal RTY target
• Ensure the Alum (AL) Grind Ops department meets the safety requirements and maintains good housekeeping
• Supervise and lead the production teams to meet production targets, improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency, cost, delivery, and discipline of workforce
• Monitor line productivity/ efficiency and to meet schedules on time
• Ensure discipline of manufacturing specialists and monitor absenteeism case
• Monitor line WIP and scrap closely
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Standard Operating Procedures set by the company

About you:

• Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with good team-building skills
• Familiar with the usage of computer applications for data collection and recording (Microsoft Office, SAP Emails, etc.)
• Ability to think ahead, analyze production data and prepare action plans to achieve results
• Quality orientation and attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Willing and able to work in 12-hourly day and night shift pattern
• A Diploma holder with at least 2 years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Fresh graduates with Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or any other engineering/technical/scientific fields are welcomed to apply

• Planning and understanding the production schedule and ensuring that the schedule is complied
• People management and leadership of a production/operations team
