Key Responsibilities:
1. Key Person in Halal Affairs (JAKIM):
i. Halal Certification Officer: This person is responsible for overseeing the application process, ensuring compliance with JAKIM’s Halal certification standards, and liaising with relevant authorities.
ii. Halal Auditor: This individual conducts audits at manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with Halal guidelines and verifies that Halal practices are implemented correctly.
iii. Halal System Specialist: This person ensures that the company’s Halal management system is compliant with JAKIM’s requirements, including overseeing the implementation of policies and procedures that ensure Halal integrity across the production process.
iv. OEM Halal Coordinator: For companies working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), this role ensures that the products and processes from third-party manufacturers adhere to Halal standards, maintaining traceability and documentation as per JAKIM's requirements.
2. Key Person in Halal System:
i. Halal Compliance Manager: This individual is in charge of maintaining the integrity of the Halal system within the organization, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and product offerings comply with Halal requirements and JAKIM’s guidelines.
ii. Quality Assurance Manager (Halal Focus): This person is responsible for ensuring that all products meet Halal standards, including overseeing supplier compliance and maintaining records of Halal certification for raw materials and finished products.
3. Key Person in OEM Halal:
i. OEM Halal Liaison Officer: This person handles communication between the company and third-party manufacturers to ensure that OEM products meet the Halal requirements set by JAKIM. They ensure that all processes, from sourcing ingredients to final product packaging, comply with Halal standards.
4. Key Person in Monthly Meetings:
i. Halal Affairs Coordinator: This person organizes and leads monthly meetings regarding Halal certification status, audit results, training updates, and other Halal-related topics. They ensure all stakeholders (from internal teams to external auditors) are informed and aligned on the latest Halal requirements and updates.
ii. Halal Management Team: In these meetings, the team discusses any challenges, updates on Halal certification, and ensures that all departments involved in the production process are adhering to Halal practices and standards.
5. Develops, implements, manages and tracks effectiveness of an integrated program, including systems, standards, procedures, measures and tools to assure that food safety, quality, sanitation and regulatory requirements are met for food products and operations.
6. Develops and delivers effective communications that provide partners at various departments such as Production, Logistic, Warehouse, R&D with appropriate awareness and knowledge of quality assurance standards, program updates and process changes.
7. Lead the Lean Management Project, Food Safety and HACCP team at respective site.
8. Interact regularly with engineering, manufacturing and service functions to establish and define quality assurance standards for the site including manufacturing, sanitation, pest control, and disposition of ingredients or finished products.

5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Able to write and converse in English for any presentation to customer.
7. Microsoft Office - Intermediate Level is required.
Additional Notes:
1. This position may require shift work or overtime, depending on production schedules.
2. Must adhere to company safety protocols and wear protective equipment as necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
