POSITION PURPOSE Senior IT Executive - IT Application is responsible for analysing, designing and implementing a system solution to meet business needs. The role includes managing/developing business requirement documents, system specification documents and other project documentation. The role is also required to manage projects and deliver the solution as per the defined scope, given timeline, and budget. In addition, the role also ensures changes in Production are governed by the Change Management Framework and the project handover process is well planned and executed to ensure continuous and appropriate post-go-live support for the business. Reporting line: The position reports to Manager, IT Application under general direction. Supervisory responsibilities: Not applicable Financial delegation: Not applicable Budget responsibilities: Not applicable KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for delivering approved projects, including ERP and enhancements across Monash University Malaysia in collaboration with Monash University Australia and managing post-go Live support and escalation when required. Ensure the timely delivery of system solutions, meeting both technical specifications and user expectations. 2. Responsible for analysing, designing and implementing a system solution to meet business needs. Perform data extraction, data cleansing, and data migration during project implementations where required, develop and manage business requirement documents, system specification documents and other project documentation. 3. Ensures changes in Production are governed by the Change Management Framework and the project handover process is well planned and executed to ensure continuous and appropriate post-go-live support for the business 4. Perform application operational request/break-fix tickets and manage escalation to the relevant team and vendor. 5. Ensure that security best practices are implemented in all stages of the application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Regularly assess applications with the IT security team for vulnerabilities to ensure timely application of patches and updates. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA 1. A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in IT-related degree or extensive knowledge, training and/or experience in software development, project management and application project lifecycle. 2. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field. 3. Possesses good planning and organisational skills, with experience in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines with effective adaptability to an agile and changing environment. 4. Fundamental technical knowledge in software development tools, servers and networking. 5. Good communication skills, including the ability to provide advice and effectively communicate technical information/concepts to non-technical users. 6. Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality service delivery, with effective adaptability to an agile and fast-changing IT environment.
