Key Responsibilities:
1. Group Financial Consolidation:
- Lead and execute the group financial consolidation process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Collaborate with local accountants to consolidate financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports at the group level.
2. Intercompany Reconciliation:
- Manage and ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany transactions to facilitate seamless financial consolidation.
3. Monthly Group Management Reporting:
- Prepare and present detailed weekly management reports that provide insights into group financial performance, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
4. Cash Management & Projections:
- Oversee cash management processes and prepare monthly cash flow projections, forecast liquidity needs and monitor cash balances across group entities.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing group-wide budgets and forecasts, collaborating closely with finance teams across different entities.
6. Audit and Compliance Support:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and provide support for both internal and external audits.
7. Ad Hoc Reporting:
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as management requests to support strategic decision-making.
8. ERP & Accounting System:
- Participate in designing, implementing, and enhancing the Group’s accounting system, ensuring it meets the organization’s evolving needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in group financial reporting and accounts consolidation, preferably within the wholesale/trading industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial consolidation processes.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential, as this role involves communicating with Chinese counterparts.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial reporting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
