The role required to execute the below tasks and initiative:

  • Event Planning: Develop and execute event plans and timelines, coordinating with agents according to the Master Schedule. Ensure and confirm date, venue and speakers for all events and activities at least 2 months in advance or event date.
  • Training Material Management: Safeguard, update, and disseminate the department’s training materials and tools. Ensure that these resources are current and effectively support network development activities. Consolidate, monitor and replenish training materials, stationeries and supplies on a quarterly basis, to support training events and departmental needs.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Organize and publicize all recruitment support activities before new campaigns are announced, to attract new recruits. Ensure event related communication across all media is current, correct and delivered within agreed timeframe.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure all aspects of the event align with company goals.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for our agents, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including setup, breakdown, and on-site management.

To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below:

  • Proficient in both verbal and written in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin and this role will deal with stakeholders that communicate in Mandarin.
  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning or management. Experience in a similar role is added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
