Position: Senior Cabling Technician ( Network / CCTV / Security Systems) Salary Range: RM3.5-RM4k Base Location: Petaling Jaya Assistant Engineer Requirements: -Technical certificate/diploma graduate -More than 3 years related experience - splicing, fiber/UTP testing, CCTV configuration, purchase network hardware, carry out small-medium size projects, interpret SLD, drawings. -More than 29 years old -Simple read, write and communication in English -Leadership experience -Possess GDL -Edit/Print in Computer: Quotation/Invoice/Service/Test Reports General Requirements Willing to work 5.5 days (Saturday Half Day) and overtime. Motivated and willing to learn. Candidates must have own transport to attend office. Candidates must be willing to travel for short term assignments in Penang, Kedah or Johor. Schedule and assign jobs for technicians Responsible for staff and site safety compliance. Check quality and completion of work Handover completed job to client. General Job Scope: ELV Technician ( Network / Security / Surveillance Infrastructure) installs, tests, labels and maintains low voltage communication distribution systems and signal sources to the terminal or equipment at the end of distribution systems, which comprise the architecture that supports voice, video and data transmissions within industrial, commercial, institutional and office complexes. Plans and prepares for installations Performs cable installations using hand and power tools installs cable support infrastructure Terminates and splice inside and outside plant cables Performs labelling, testing and documentation of installations Performs networking installations Troubleshoots cable systems Develops and maintains positive client relations Understanding of industry cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of different cabling systems (copper / fiber test equipment, Fluke DSX, DTX , Network Analyzer, VFL, etc). Manage, check and coordinate all materials to be delivered to site daily. Installing server racks, connecting fiber / copper cables and power cords and taking care of basic configuration in line with internal SLA.
