Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd (“CHOC”) are the operator for and on behalf of Petronas Carigali JDA Ltd Malaysia (50%) and Hess Oil Company of Thailand Ltd. Co. Thailand (50%); the contractors under the Production Sharing Contract (“PSC”) with Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority (“MTJA”) for Block A-18 of the Malaysia Thailand Joint Development Area (“MTJDA”) For your info, MTJDA was established as a statutory body to assume all rights and responsibilities on behalf of the Malaysian and Thai Governments to explore and exploit the non-living resources, particularly petroleum, in the offshore overlapping continental shelf claim area (JDA – joint development area) MTJA, for gas exploration and production: at Kuala Lumpur office (HQ) as well as other locations at Kemaman Supply Base, Terengganu (KSB), Tok Bali Supply Base, Kelantan (TBSB), Cakerawala Offshore Platform (CKP) & Puteri Cakerawala (FSO) Offshore. We are governed by a Board consisting of seven Members each from Malaysia and Thailand, appointed by the respective Governments and under the MTJA Board, there is a management staff of MTJA comprising equal number of Malaysian and Thai executives. MTJA website : https://www.mtja.org JD For Technician Instrument as below: Maintain and carry out all related maintenance for all Instrumentation, Control, and Metering equipment and systems to ensure their reliability and availability to meet the daily Sales gas production target and the expected condensate production and to meet all agreed KPI’s as per company goals and strategies. Work closely and provide support to maintain all instruments and control related equipment and systems on all the platforms. This will involve activities such as check, repair, replace, inspect, test, service, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, remove, modify, install, etc. on all types of indicating, measuring, recording and controlling instrument and systems. Examples of such instrument equipment are field instruments, Fire and Gas Detection System, Distributed Control System, Shutdown System, Custody Meters, SCADA, and pneumatic control equipment such as control valves, shutdown valves, etc. Execute and implement all planned Preventative Maintenance activities related to Instrument Department. Coordinate and monitor Instrument Department related activities of other contractors and vendors when assigned or required. Participate and represent CARIGALI HESS when assigned or required, in hook-up & commissioning and audit activities prior to start-up Participate in firefighting, rescue and damage control effort in the event such need arises. Participate in all safety programs and training on the platforms such as emergency drill, firefighting and rescue exercise, safety meeting, audits etc. Participate in any training (other than safety) organised by CARIGALI HESS, as and when assigned or required Update maintenance and other manuals related to Instrument department. Also prepare specific instrument related work procedures (SSP) when assigned or required. Perform other Instrument Department related tasks and activities as assigned, directed or instructed by CARIGALI HESS’ Instrument Team Leader. Participate and comply with the company’s Health, Environment and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure all subordinates, co-workers, contractors and vendors strictly observe and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Responsible as a member of platform emergency response team (ERP).
