About the Role:

As a CCTV Operator, you will be responsible to cover the control room, maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:
  • Effortlessly controlling and keeping an eye on all CCTV systems and cameras in the Control Center while adhering to operating guidelines, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Recording everything that happens in a precise, readable, and clear written format.
  • Keeping a secure system in place for data transmission in compliance with the rules, making sure the equipment and control room is always kept safe.
  • Reporting any equipment failure to the management or the chief security officer.
  • Confirming that the CCTV system is operating as intended and that video is properly recorded and saved.
  • Assisting police in their investigations by granting them access to CCTV recordings or copies of footage as needed.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
  • Min. technical diploma or certificate.
  • 2 - 3 years' experience as CCTV Operator.
  • Willing to work shift working hour.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
