Primary Responsibilities:

Transaction Handling:
Process customer payments for drinks, cover charges, and merchandise using cash, credit/debit cards, or other forms of payment.
Issue accurate receipts for all transactions.
Cash Management:
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Handle cash securely and ensure that the till contains the necessary float.
Customer Service:
Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist with inquiries about pricing, specials, or promotions.
Resolve minor customer complaints or escalate them to the manager when necessary.
Accuracy and Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with the nightclub's financial policies.
Verify customer identification to ensure legal age compliance for alcohol purchases, if required.
Collaboration:
Work closely with bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
Provide updates about customer flow and transactions to the management team.
Maintenance:
Keep the cashier station organized and clean.
Restock items like receipt paper, pens, and promotional materials.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Skills:
Strong numerical skills for accurate transactions.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
Experience in the hospitality or nightlife industry is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Must be available to work late-night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
Legal eligibility to work and, if required, an understanding of alcohol licensing laws.
