Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Product Owner
· Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog, ensure alignment with business goals, and maintain a clear vision for the product.
2. Team Formation and Shaping
· Help form and shape the team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, guiding the team in adopting new ways of working and Agile practices.
3. Delivery Timelines
· Monitor and track delivery timelines, proactively identify potential delays or roadblocks, and work with the team to remove impediments to keep delivery on track.
4. Metrics and Reporting:
· Monitor and report team performance metrics (i.e., velocity, burndown/up, technical agility metrics) to help teams to gauge progress, make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
5. Facilitating Scrum Events:
· Responsible for organizing and facilitating all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) to build capability and self-sufficiency in AIA Agile teams.
· Ensuring meetings are conducted efficiently with right people involved and outcomes are achieved.
6. Scrum Practices:
· Ensure team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to its rules which promote self-organization within the team and foster a culture of accountability.
· Coach team members on Scrum principles and best practices to improve overall team performance.
7. Removing Impediments
· Facilitate discussions with the team to identify and address impediments that hinder progress, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring a smooth development process.
8. Risk Identification and Mitigation
· Identify risks that may impact project delivery, collaborate with the team to develop mitigation strategies, and ensure that risks are tracked and managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
