Position : Mixed Signal Design Engineer Company Industry : Semiconductor industry Working Hours : Mon – Fri (Time: TBC) Working Location : La Promenade, Parcel No. L4-10 to L4-14 & 15B Level 4, Lorong La Promenade 2, Kuching - Samarahan Expressway, 94300 Kota Samarahan, Sarawak Working Duration: Permanent Position Remuneration : Negotiable (RM5,000 to RM7,000) JOB SUMMARY: The Mixed Signal Design Engineer will be responsible for verifying the mixed-mode design (analog, digital and embedded software) or the Integrated Circuit (IC) based on the customer requirements. WHO CAN APPLY? • Engineering degree in Electronics, Microelectronics or related fields. • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required • Proficient in analog and digital circuit design, simulation, and verification tools, such as Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens. • Knowledge of system-level design and verification tools, such as System Verilog and Verilog-AMS and with scripting languages like Shell, Python, PERL, TCL • Experience with behavioral modeling languages (Verilog, Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, System Verilog, UVM) is an asset • Experience with Git and Gitlab is an asset • Knowledge of ISO26262 and IEC61508 standards is a plus • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Self-motivated and able to take full responsibility for solutions • Travel may be required for design reviews and collaboration with global teams JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • To own the digital specification and hardware-software interface definition for mixed-signal System-on-Chips • Make the bridge between competence centers delivering part of the SoC (Digital design, Analog design, Software design, etc); • To work with circuit design engineers and system architects to define verification needs and create verification plans; • Perform detailed simulation and verification of top-level analog, digital and embedded software functionality; • Be involved in the system modeling to conceptualize and validate circuits • Develop and integrate high-level functional models and test benches to support system simulation; • Develop Verilog-AMS and System Verilog behavioral models; • Ensure validity and optimize performance of designers’ behavioral models.
