Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of loss adjusters, overseeing the review and assessment of reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Conduct site surveys and investigations to assess loss events, establish relevant facts, and evaluate causation, nature, and extent of damage. Analyze policy terms to determine liability and provide clear advice on policy coverage. Prepare and present comprehensive, timely reports of findings to clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Address queries from clients, intermediaries, policyholders, and third parties with urgency and professionalism. Coordinate effectively with external experts, third-party providers, contractors, and other relevant parties. Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Insurance, Risk Management, or any related field/ BCCILA or any recognized loss adjusting certificate. 4-5 years of experience in loss adjusting, preferably in managerial role. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills to handle a variety of tasks efficiently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical findings effectively. Analytical and solution-oriented mindset to evaluate information, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. Team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
