As part of our expansion into Taiwan, we are looking for a talented Mandarin Graphic Designer to join our creative team and help us build a compelling visual identity for the Taiwan market. This role will be based in Malaysia, but your focus will be on creating designs tailored to the Taiwan audience.

About the Role
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing visually appealing, engaging, and culturally relevant materials for Bjak’s Taiwan operations. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop assets that resonate with Taiwanese consumers while maintaining alignment with Bjak's brand identity and global vision.

This role requires an experienced designer with a strong understanding of Taiwan’s design preferences, trends, and consumer culture. You should be ready to create high-quality digital and print designs that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand-building activities tailored to the Taiwan market.

What You Need to Excel as a Graphic Designer:

  • Cultural Understanding: You should have a strong understanding of Taiwan’s cultural and design preferences, ensuring your work resonates with the local audience.
  • Design Expertise: You will create a wide range of design assets, including digital ads, social media visuals, website banners, product images, and print materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Creative Vision: You should have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and aesthetics, turning complex ideas into clear, compelling visual stories.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin: As this role will cater to the Taiwan market, fluency in Mandarin is essential for understanding local trends, communicating with teams, and ensuring that the designs are culturally appropriate.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to ensure that designs are aligned with campaign objectives and meet the needs of the Taiwan market.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptive to different design styles, and able to incorporate feedback to iterate quickly and improve designs based on market response.

Requirements

  • Proven graphic design experience, with at least 3-5 years
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your experience with digital, print, and social media design.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to ensure that all designs are tailored for the Taiwan market.
  • Excellent knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Familiarity with marketing and branding concepts and how to create designs that effectively communicate key messages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for design and creativity, with the ability to stay current with design trends and industry best practices.
