Senior Lecturer in Education

Teaching and Curriculum Development: -Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and workshops for undergraduate and postgraduate students. -Develop, review, and update course materials and teaching methods to ensure alignment with academic standards and industry relevance. -Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, enhancing their learning experience. Supervision of Project Papers: -Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, ensuring timely completion and high academic standards. -Guide students in formulating research proposals, methodologies, and project execution. Research and Publication: -Conduct high-quality research and publish in Scopus-indexed journals and other reputable academic platforms. -Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research initiatives and secure research funding when possible. -Present research findings at academic conferences, both locally and internationally. Academic Administration: -Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities as required. -Contribute to the development of academic policies, quality assurance processes, and curriculum improvements. Student Engagement and Support: -Provide academic counseling and support to students to enhance their academic performance and personal development. -Organize and participate in extracurricular activities to promote a well-rounded academic environment. Professional Development and Community Engagement: -Stay current with developments in the relevant academic field through continuous professional development. -Engage in community and industry collaborations to enhance the institution’s reputation and student opportunities. Requirements: -Has a Bachelor Degree and PhD in Education or a closely related field. -Significant post-doctoral research experience in the specified areas. -Demonstrated success in supervising and mentoring PhD students will be an added advantage. -A strong record of scholarly publications in reputable journals and conferences. -Evidence of securing research grants and collaborating with industry partners. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external partners. -Membership in relevant professional organizations. -Active participation in conferences and workshops. -Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the academic community.
