Job Highlights The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling automotive cameras, including reverse cameras and dash cams, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes. This role involves working closely with the production team to achieve production targets and maintain product quality. Key Responsibilities 1.Assembly Process: Assemble components of automotive cameras (reverse cameras and dash cams) according to established procedures and guidelines. Conduct visual inspections to ensure all parts are assembled correctly and meet quality standards. Operate and maintain assembly line equipment and tools. 2.Quality Control: Perform quality checks at different stages of the assembly process to identify and address defects. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 3.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in the assembly process to minimize production downtime. Report any equipment malfunctions or defects to the maintenance team promptly. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including assembly steps, quality checks, and any issues encountered. Complete production reports and submit them to the Production Supervisor. 4.Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and increase efficiency. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to the Production Supervisor. 5.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental standards. Qualifications / requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an assembly technician role, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience with automotive camera assembly is a plus. Skills: Strong technical skills and proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual assembly task Capability to lift and move components and materials as needed.
