  • Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory records and resolutions, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
  • Organise and attend board meetings, committee meetings, and annual general meetings, ensuring accurate minutes are recorded.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, legal advisors, accountants, auditors and tax agents as required.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings and ensure timely lodgment of documents with relevant authorities.
  • Provide advice on corporate governance practices and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Support the Company Secretary in the implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports and other corporate documents.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Company Secretary.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or a related field.
  • MAICSA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a company secretarial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2016 and other related laws and regulations in Malaysia.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Independent and self-motivated.
