Your new role
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food ingredient sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Engage with existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilise data analysis to track sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals and enhance performance. Provide training and support to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and market insights.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed to improve results.
• Plan and execute promotional activities, including trade shows, events, and product launches, to increase brand visibility and sales.
What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, specifically within the food ingredients industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use insights to guide decision-making.
