LEGAL EXECUTIVE
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience in the areas of law, legal and compliance, contracting, corporate conveyancing or litigation.
- String inter-personal skills, high self-initiative, resourceful, and attentitve to detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Vet, negotiate, draft and formalize all contracts to be entered into by the company for the best interest of the company.
2. Prepare other legal documents including letter of demand and provide legal advise.
3. Monitor and prepare reports for update to management on risk affecting the business and the company.
4. Provide risk awareness briefings and training on methodologies and assist the business units to identify risks, assess and control risk affecting the business and company.
5. To provide administrative support and assist the company’s lawyer and company with any and all parts of legal process.
6. Keep abreast with new / amended company laws and update management on necessary action required.
7. Follow-up with company lawyer on pending cases and latest status.
8. Coordinate with account department on debtor’s and request company lawyer to issue letter of demand when necessary.
9. Assist to draft, review and process various types of agreement, letters, terms and conditions.
10. Assist in providing legal advise/opinion to business units in contract negotiations/legal documents.
11. Carry out all other functions to support the department.
12. Legal Executive is required to review contracts and agreements and see to it that they comply with the legal norms.
13. Review of contract providing commentary and reasoning on acceptability of terms negotiating any contentious points and agreeing final form contract or an agreement.
14. Attend special committee meeting and offer advice as required.
15. To carry or performs other duties tasks as assigned by the Superior and the Management from time to time.
16. To maintain all company’s records related to legal/corporate/risk mitigation in safe condition.

Pay: RM3,200.00 per month
