  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job summary
As a QA Engineer Intern, you will support the quality assurance team in testing software applications to ensure high quality and functionality. You’ll work closely with developers and other QA engineers, gaining hands-on experience in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in software quality assurance and learn about the software development lifecycle.


General responsibilities
  • Assist in Test Case Design and Execution: Support the team in designing, documenting, and executing test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct Basic Functional Testing: Perform manual testing of features to verify that they meet requirements, report bugs, and ensure the software behaves as expected.
  • Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document any bugs or issues discovered during testing, using defect-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and work with developers on debugging and resolution.
  • Collaborate in Test Planning: Participate in team meetings to understand the scope of testing efforts and provide input on test plans and timelines.
  • Learn and Apply QA Best Practices: Gain experience with standard QA processes, methodologies, and tools while observing industry best practices for quality and efficiency.

Functional skills and knowledge
  • Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Good to have experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
