Job Responsibility:

  • Review project quality plan (QAP) to be implemented based on available Welding ProcedureSpecification (WPS) and Welder Qualification Records (WQR)
  • Liaison with Engineers, 3rd party/client representatives asrequire and ensuring agreed QualityPlan is implemented and adhered to.
  • Monitor and prepare welding recordsto ensure compiled documentation according to projectrequirement.
  • Plan, monitor and conduct NDT activities with 3rd party to ensure full compliance according tospecification.
  • Identify and documentation of non‐conformance report. Follow‐up progress and closure of non‐conformance report raised.
  • Develop continual improvement and ensure welder performance at optimum level.
  • Consumable control and welding machine calibration.

Job Qualification :

  • Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in steel fabrication
  • CSWIP Level 3.1/3.2 by The Welding Institute(TWI)
  • CWI by American Welding Socieny(AWS)
  • Inspection and Testing techniques
  • Welding & NDT requirements
  • COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS)
  • Codes and Specifications: BN EN ISO 9606-1, BS EN 15614-1, ASME II, ASME V, ASME VII, ASME IX, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, API 1104, AWS D1.1
  • Read and interprets construction drawings
