Finance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support the company’s strategic goals.

Position Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role will play a critical part in providing insights to support decision-making and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Monitor key financial metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Operations and Compliance Management:
• Ensure timely filing of statutory returns, tax filings, and other compliance reports to relevant government agencies, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and employment-related filings.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all financial and operational data are up-to-date and readily accessible for inspections and audits.
• Develop and oversee processes for efficient documentation, reporting, and compliance management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Develop, monitor, and manage the company’s annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
• Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
• Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to optimize cash management.
• Internal Controls and Risk Management:
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and align financial goals with company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CFA or equivalent certification is a plus).
• In-depth understanding of local accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations, with exposure to US GAAP preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced technology or startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
