Job Summary

The EIS’s primary responsibility role is to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to the entire Information Technology Landscape including endpoint computing, servers, infra-system, network, security and asset management.

The role requires good & strong knowledge in the related area as mentioned above. Ability to understand, improvise and suggest an adequate IS Blueprint to support the business dynamics.

Qualifications

· Equivalent to either a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computing Engineering.

Job experience

· A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in the management of mid to large infrastructure footprint.

· Excellent customer service orientation, customer relationship building skills, understanding of customers' perspectives goals and business objectives.

· Strong communication and listening skills are imperative.

· Strong Business Acumens and ability to translate business requirement into technology blueprint.

· Extensive program and project management skills for business process improvement and information technology related complex initiatives. Project management experience for multiple full life-cycles, cross-functional projects in the lead program management role.

· Extensive experience in servers management both Wintel and non-Wintel.

· Strong understanding of information technology concepts and applications, implementation experience of standard packages and custom developed applications, understanding of information system concepts and technology integration solutions.

· Experience in overseeing the administration of Support applications utilized to automate business practices in multiple, dispersed locations required.

· Strong knowledge in data communications and networking as well as Security.

· Experience in managing contracted information technology personnel (onsite/offsite) is desired.

· Experience with reputable network and security products.

· Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Technical skills

· Strong knowledge in EndPoint Computing Management.

· Strong knowledge in Active Directory System or relevant directory management.

· Strong knowledge in DNS, DHCP, LACP, NPS, NTS, Exchange and IIS.

· Strong knowledge in Networking Design, Planning, Migration and Orchestration.

· Good knowledge in Web Servers Management is highly desirable.

· Good knowledge in UpStream Security Framework & DownStream Security Framework.

· Strong knowledge in Cloud Computing Orchestration both Private and Public.

· Strong knowledge in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure Design, and management.

· Strong knowledge in Storage System, including Storage Arrays.

Language proficiency

· Proficient in both oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. The Role provides leadership and management of EIS development teams and projects.

2. Oversee and direct, the strategic IS plan, development of business requirements, development and design of a right-sized infrastructure footprint.

3. Oversee and actively develop the Project Workbook (in conjunction with the Practice Manager and Customer) including why the project was requested, as well as the project requirements and scope including the risk, time, and cost

4. Work with Practice Manager and Customer to identify the technical approach to be used and the deliverables to be furnished at the completion of the project

5. Schedule and assign resources to ensure that applications satisfy users’ needs and are completed within agreed upon time parameters

6. Monitor the status of the technical resources and tasks using tools such as the MIS Work Database

7. Ensure Business RTO and RPO are met; 99.9% System Uptime.

8. Ensure any security threats discovered are being managed and eliminated.

9. Work with external support resources, include Data Center Team, SNOC Team, MDRC Team.

10. Maintain a high level of Service Desk’s SLA KPI are met.

11. Develop and maintain technical documentation on computer-based information systems; compile documentation for design changes or creation criteria.

12. Develop and maintain relevant Standard Operation Procedures & Processes of the EIS Unit. Including Governance, Risk Management & Business Continuity Management.

13. Develop, review, maintain and implementation of IS Policy & Protocols.

14. Participate in customer on-boarding process, highly involve in design, plan and orchestrate right-sized footprint in accommodating business dynamics.
