  • Responsible for new tender projects pricing and get sub-contractors and suppliers pricing.
  • Plan and coordinate selection of potential sub-contractors in any new project
  • Prepare budgeting and costing for the projects and quantity checking.
  • Valuation of progress claims and sub-contractor claims.
  • Responsible for pre and post contract management, negotiation and preparation of final accounts.
  • Conducting accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and machineries / equipment costs.
  • Verification of claims and recommendation for payments to sub-contractors.
  • Involve in tendering processes, conduct sub-contractor tender interviews and cost evaluation exercise.
  • Verify all progress claims up to the final claim certification including preparations of final accounts for all sub-contracts.
  • Ensure timely awards of sub-contractors, prepare Letter of Award and or Works Order.
  • Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor tender and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Prepare Main Contract Claim to client and ensure client timely issue the payment certificate and coordinate with Accounts Department to follow up payment status from client.
  • Preparing and managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Taking off and prepare re-measurement works
  • Ensure operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the Company’s Quality Management System.
  • Performing regular site valuations to assess progress, verify quantities, and address any contract and cost-related issues.

Job requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience in pre and post-contract in Interior Design construction projects is compulsory.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the same capacity.
  • Strong knowledge in taking-off, site measurement, costing, tender preparation, claim evaluation, and account finalization
  • Able to work independently and teamwork-oriented.
  • Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia.
