Job Description
Core accountancy work - owning the financial statements of all group companies including group consolidationPreparation of financial forecasts and monitoring performance - a key role for assisting management to make strategic decisions
The preparation of our customer usage metrics to provide insight to the rest of the business on how our customers are engaging with our products and services
Producing monthly management reports and quarterly shareholder reports
Ensure the bank reconciliations are performed in a timely manner and according to the relevant regulatory requirements
Overseeing the annual audit process
Overseeing the preparation of regulatory and tax filings
Preparing applications for local government grants
Invoicing our clients and ensuring collections are prompt
Processing of payroll, including quarterly reconciliations
Qualifications
Key personality traits - Independent, self starter, problem solver, responsible and reliableBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
2+ years of relevant experience
Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate with all levels of the organization
Commercially minded and can think outside of the box
Experience working in a rapidly scaling business
The ability to build scalable processes and tools from scratch
The ability to produce documentation (accounting policies, how-to guides)
Expert-level Excel experience
