The Merchandising Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team by managing stock transactions, coordinating shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy across all boutiques. This role involves close collaboration with boutiques to ensure seamless stock allocation, sufficient inventory levels, and timely replenishment. The Merchandising Assistant will also generate and analyze sales and inventory reports, forecast stock requirements, and address customer stock requests, contributing to efficient operations and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly shipments, ensuring timely follow-up on invoices, credit notes, and all related documentation.
  • Address shipment stock discrepancies by liaising with cross-functional departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to coordinate stock allocation.
  • Oversee stock transactions from the warehouse to boutiques, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor stock accuracy and maintain sufficient stock levels for each boutique.
  • Generate and analyze weekly sales and inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and review promotional sales reports as needed.
  • Forecast monthly stock requirements to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Handle email correspondence with boutiques to address customer stock requests and inquiries.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
