Quality Engineer

(a) Set up, developing and implementing quality standards and quality control system of the company for obtained Quality related qualifications/certifications;

(b) Monitoring and analysing quality performance;

(c) Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met;

(d) Responsible for the achievement, analysis, quantitative improvement and assessment of QE KPI indicators

(e) Participate in quality related meetings and prepare or review relevant materials/reports

(f) Collaborating with NPI team to develop and implement control and improvement;

(g) Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations;

(h) Handle all complaint according to principle of 137 (1st days report,3rd day conclusion and close cases/settle complaint by 7days)

(i) Organize QE and provide training to QC about criteria of customer and also quality issues happened;

(j) Handle the returned materials from customer in time and analyse the quality issues happened in production and customer, and find the root cause to eliminate them to prevent from recurrence;

(k) Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues;

(l) Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements;

(m) Carry out the requirements of the safe operation procedures of the daily process and be responsible for their own safety; and

(n) Other work arranged by superior from time to time as necessary .

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; exceptional candidates without a degree will also be considered.
• Preferably from the sheet metal industry.
• At least three years of experience as a sample inspector in the mechanical industry, with relevant certifications being preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical industry fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate with personnel from different departments and levels.
• Meticulous work attitude and careful inspection skills, capable of handling complex inspection tasks and issues.
• Proficient in using common office software and inspection equipment, with experience in automated inspection preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by production demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
