Tax Supervisor (Bukit Mertajam, Penang)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support and assistance to the Tax Manager.
• Prepare and complete tax computations and tax submissions within the given time frame assigned by the tax manager (The premium clients).
• Handle the submission of Form CP204 & Form CP204A of premium clients with the necessary advice. Review and ensure timely submission of Form CP204 & Form CP204A by Tax Associates and Tax Senior.
• Review tax computation of dormant and small companies prepared by Junior staff
• Ensure all tax correspondences are followed up and responded to by Tax Associates and Tax Seniors on time.
• The given timeframe properly deals with all IRB tax correspondences assigned by the Tax Manager.
• Resolve technical and non-technical tax issues on a timely basis.
• Meet all tax deadlines.
• Managed and answered clients' technical tax enquiries on a timely basis. Explain the tax computation to customers when required.
• Support others to achieve their deadlines without having to be asked.
• Work effectively as a team leader, sharing responsibility, providing support, and maintaining communication within the tax team and other YYC biz units.
• Manage the filing of tax documents into the tax files in a timely and organized manner.
• Attend exit meetings with the Tax Manager when required.

Job Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification and/or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance major in Taxation
• Minimum 3 years of tax experience [ preferably mandarin speaker]
• Good tax knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
