Job Description

  • Provides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates workflow.
  • Answers questions and resolves problems within the work unit supervised.
  • Reviews work performance, motivates subordinates to work more effectively, identifies performance problems and solutions, determines training needs to improve performance, initiates informal measures to correct misconduct, or makes recommendations for formal discipline.
  • Monitors the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of completion of the alerts for the team supervised.
  • Participates and/or conducts performance evaluations on subordinated staff.
  • Delivers effective procedure, process updates and reminders in due time, both in writing and orally.
  • Reports on the overall performance of the team and suggests possible areas of improvement.
  • Provides direction on achieving SLAs agreed with client and other operational objectives
  • Provides feedback, develops and motivates team members to exceed all program goals
  • Oversee the coaching and feedback provided to trainees by Quality Checker and Trainer on performance in the training environment and follow up with trainees to ensure achievement of skill proficiency and performance standards set
  • Uses trending data from quality assurance reports to create one-on-one or group trainings to resolve training discrepancies
  • Reports to the Operation Manager on daily basis

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor above degree/University degree/equivalent degree
  • Minimum 5+ years’ team management experience in compliance service operation team ideally within the financial institutions or e-Commerce or MNC or consulting firm etc.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required for this role.
  • With fundamental knowledge about AML and Sanctions regulations, risks and typologies etc.
  • Team oriented with a track record of building ability to work proactively and co-operatively with others
  • Strong prioritization skills and ability to handle tasks with clarity and integrity
  • Strong organization and communication skills, and interact with others effectively
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills • CAMS certification is a plus
