Job Responsibilities
- Develop and improve production processes to achieve optimum performances in terms of yield and productivity Perform UPH and capacity utilization studies.
- Lean activities: UPH improvement, value add study and pull system implementation.
- Provide engineering solutions to process issues through root cause analysis, FMEA and implementation of corrective and/or preventive actions.
- Coordinate project transfer, inclusive of planning for first article builds, transfer / procuring of equipment, tooling, template and fixtures.
- To ensure products conform to customer specifications and requirements.
- To maintain Engineering procedures, Bill of Materials and Work Instructions.
- Maintain the department’s quality system as well as develop new systems to meet the quality objectives of the organization
- Ensure that the department conforms to the ISO9001, ISO14001 and IATF16949.
- To do benchmarking for continual improvement
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by superior.
Requirements
- Possess a diploma/degree background in Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of working experience in similar role
- Experience in any, some or all of the following processes would definitely be an added advantage: Ultrasonic welding, Die cutting, Laser cutting, PU dispensing, Hotmelt dispensing and pleating for filtration products.
- Knowledge in PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 7 QC tools and etc.
- Knowledge in 6 Sigma, ISO9001, ISO 14001, IATF16949, AutoCAD and SolidWorks will be added advantage.
- Mature, hardworking, self-motivated, with a sense of urgency.
- Good analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Able to work independently with the potential to become a leader.
- Disciplined and dynamic team player with a positive attitude.
- Able to withstand pressure and long working hours.
- Be motivated to work well independently with minimum supervision.
- Possess the ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a team environment.
- Possess good time management skills and practice excellent attendance.
- Have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- More than 5 years of working experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,678.29 - RM6,000.39 per month
